It’s official! The Pantone Color Institute has deemed emerald the official color of 2013.
Experts search worldwide for the one color that will ultimately set the tone for the year to come. Executive Director Leatrice Eiseman says, “As it has throughout history, multifaceted Emerald continues to sparkle and fascinate. Symbolically, Emerald brings a sense of clarity, renewal and rejuvenation, which is so important in today’s complex world. This powerful and universally-appealing tone translates easily to both fashion and home interiors.”
What does this color say to you? We hope this bright, glimmering color predicts a year of clarity after a frenzied 2012. Now, off to the store to infuse our office with this color!
