At this year’s CES (Consumer Electronics Show), one of the most unlikely exhibitors showed off the new horizons in mailing technology. That’s right, the U.S. Postal Service stood among giants in technology, presenting their newest development to promote integrated communications.
The app, developed with Aurasma, allows users to scan a mailpiece and experience interactive media. By mixing digital and print together, this augmented reality technology serves as a reminder to consumers that even supposed outmoded means of communication like direct mail is evolving.
