InfoTrends recently released their newest multi-client study, “Capturing the SMB Marketing Automation Opportunity.”   In their study, InfoTrends wanted to understand the changing communications behavior and media channel preference for small and medium-sized businesses, or SMBs.  Other objectives included the study of the effectiveness of cross-media communications and what comprises their current marketing mix.  Where do SMBs fit within the marketing world?
Service-based companies and entrepreneurial start-ups, like law firms, construction companies and family-owned restaurants, constantly battle to stay afloat amongst a sea of competitors, especially in today’s fluctuating economy.  InfoTrends found that to further their reach and maintain their customer’s attention, SMBs are spreading their marketing needs across various channels, including mass media, promotional print, digital, mobile, and social media.  This means that commercial printers, like B&B, are still a huge resource for SMBs.  With diversified offerings, B&B will help these smaller businesses look professional and credible.  Per the fragmented nature of the SMB market, our print services are looking forward to the enticing, yet challenging opportunities ahead.
