BECAUSE A PRINT SHOP IS BETTER THAN A MUSEUM

A few weeks ago we played tour guide, instructor, and wrangler to roughly 30 students, 2 parents, and 1 teacher from Pocahontas Middle School. We started and ended in our conference room, and made stops in the plate-making room, digital press room, the pressroom, and finishing along the way. While tours are not common at B&B, they are truly something we look forward to, as the fuel of youthful curiosity tends to reignite the passion we have for our craft.
As print geeks, printing is a science to us. From digital imaging and 4-color process to inkjetting and die-cutting, everything we do is exact, measured, and concise. Our technology surprises us everyday by what it can do, and the craftsmen that handle the machinery are even more impressive.
We wanted to share pictures with you in hopes that our love for the science and craft of printing catches on!
