B&B has been designated a Conditionally Exempt Small Quantity Generator (CESQG) by the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality as a result of reducing the amount of hazardous waste materials produced to zero.
Over the past year, B&B has worked to refine production processes to eliminate hazardous materials used in its production process. B&B worked with vendors to find alternative supplies in an effort to reduce the amount of hazardous waste produced. After evaluating alternatives, B&B was able to completely eliminate hazardous waste from its waste stream.
According to B&B’s President, Michael Bland, “The fact that our team was able to completely eliminate hazardous waste from our production process is a huge achievement. We’re very excited and proud to have achieved the CESQG designation.”
